Who we are

This website is operated by Amit Chopra, Salesperson with RE/MAX Optimum Realty, Brokerage, 268 Derry Rd #101, Mississauga, Ontario L5W0H6. Each office is independently owned and operated. This policy explains how personal information collected through this website is handled, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information we collect

Information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, property address and details, timing, and any message you write.

• Pages you visit on this site, the website or campaign that referred you (for example, UTM tags or ad click identifiers), and the time you spent completing a form.
• Technical details sent by your browser: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type, browser, screen size, language, and time zone.
• A record of the consent you gave, which may include the wording shown, the date and time, and your IP address.

How we use it

• To prepare the home evaluation or answer the request you made, and to contact you about it by your preferred method.
• To provide real estate services you ask for.
• To send market updates by email, only if you opted in. Every such email lets you unsubscribe.
• To keep records of consent and transactions required by law and by real estate regulations.
• To protect this website from spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, so we can improve the website.

Consent and electronic messages

By submitting a form you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes above. When you request a home evaluation or ask a question, we will contact you about that request. We will send ongoing marketing emails only with your express consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying “unsubscribe”, or by contacting us using the details below. Withdrawing consent does not affect information we must keep to meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Sharing your information

We never sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services:

• With RE/MAX Optimum Realty, Brokerage, and members of Team Arora who support your file, and as required for brokerage record-keeping.
• With service providers that operate this website on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations: website hosting (Vercel), spam and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), email delivery where used, and, where enabled, website analytics (Google Analytics and Meta).
• If you choose to send your request by WhatsApp or text message, it is carried by WhatsApp (Meta) or your mobile carrier under their own privacy terms.
• With other parties you ask us to involve, such as a lawyer, lender, or inspector.
• Where required or permitted by law, including to respond to a regulator such as the Real Estate Council of Ontario.

Some service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. That information may be subject to the laws of those countries.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses your browser’s local storage to remember how you first found the website, so an enquiry can be matched to its source. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set cookies to measure visits and advertising results. Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser signals to confirm a form is being completed by a person. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; the website will still work.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, or as long as required by law and real estate regulations. Information is sent over encrypted connections, access is limited to people who need it, and forms are protected against automated abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. We will respond within the time required by law. If you have a concern we have not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Home evaluations

A home evaluation is a comparative market analysis: an opinion of market value prepared by a registered real estate salesperson. It is not a formal appraisal and should not be relied on for lending, legal, or tax purposes.
